Seatback Angle Adjustment (Optional)

Your wheelchair may be equipped with angle adjustable back canes that allow you to adjust the seatback to one of five different angles. The angle adjustment range is 85°- 105° in 5° increments. See figure 20.

To adjust the seatback angle:

1.Remove the top screw and nut from the back cane and loosen the lower screw. See figure 20.

2.Rotate the eccentric washer to the appropriate position that represents the desired angle. See figure 20.

3.Reinstall the hardware to its original position from step 1.

Flip-back Armrests

The armrests can be flipped back to aid in transfers or transporting your wheelchair.

To flip back the armrest:

1.Squeeze the armrest latch to release the armrest. See figure 21.

2.Flip the armest back.

3.Repeat for the other side if necessary.

Armrest Height Adjustment

You can adjust the armrest height 7 in. (17.78 cm) in 1- in. (2.54-cm) increments.

To adjust the armrest height:

1.Pull back and hold the release pin located on the armrest. See figure 22.

2.Move the armrest up or down to the desired position.

3.Release the pin.

4.Make sure the armrest locks into place.

5.Repeat for the other side if necessary.
