1) Colocación de las baterías (Figura 2)

Requiere dos baterías tipo "C" (no incluidas). El compartimiento de las baterías se localiza en la parte trasera izquierda de la unidad. Destornille la perilla del compartimiento de las baterías girándola en sentido antihorario. Para insertar las baterías, colóquelas en el compartimiento utilizando los símbolos impresos como referencia. Vuelva a colocar la perilla y gírela en sentido horario hasta que quede apretada.

2) Cambio de la bombilla (Figuras 3 & 4)

Permita que la bombilla se enfríe antes de cambiarla. Desconecte el microscopio Quantum y quite la carátula y la palanca de condensación; vea la figura 3. Sujete el módulo de iluminación y gírelo a la izquierda para zafarlo. Levántelo y deberá salir fácilmente. Sustituya el módulo de iluminación con el incluido en el juego. Inserte el módulo de iluminación incluido en el juego. Gírelo hacia la derecha para fijarlo; vea la figura 4.
