Key Switch

WARNING! If the key is removed from the key switch while your scooter is in motion, the electronic brakes engage and your scooter comes to an abrupt stop!

νFully insert the key into the key switch to power up (turn on) your Celebrity.

νPull the key out to power down (turn off) your Celebrity.

Speed Control Dial

This control dial allows you to preselect and limit your Celebrity’s top speed.

νThe image of the tortoise represents the slowest speed setting.

νThe image of the hare represents the fastest speed setting.

Throttle Control Lever

This lever allows you to control the forward speed and the reverse speed of your Celebrity up to the maximum speed you preset with the speed control dial.

νPlace your right hand on the right handgrip and your left hand on the left handgrip.

νUse your right thumb to push the right side of the lever to disengage your Celebrity’s brakes and move forward.

νRelease the lever and allow your Celebrity to come to a complete stop before pushing the other side of the lever to move in reverse.

νWhen the throttle is completely released, it automatically returns to the center “stop” position and engages your Celebrity’s brakes.

Battery Condition Meter

Whenever you have the key fully inserted, this meter gives an approximate reading of your Celebrity’s battery voltage.

Horn Button

νThe key must be fully inserted into the key switch for the horn to be operational.

νThis button activates a warning horn.

νDo not hesitate to use the warning horn when its use could prevent accident or injury.

Light Switch

This switch controls your Celebrity’s lighting system.

νPress this switch once to turn on the lights.

νPress it again to turn off the lights.
