The original Invacare® TDX® wheechair introduced quiet Stability Lock, a feature that kept the power chair stable whenever it felt that the driver's weight was rocking forward. The TDX Family takes that same feature to the next level. The Stability Lock feature is designed to operate and keep the power chair stable

while it is in motion. It is not intended to operate while the power chair is at rest. This second generation Stability Lock replaces the metal gear set used on the first generation TDX wheelchair with a gas locking

cylinder, making the feature whisperQuiet Stability Lock. quiet. It also provides a shock-

absorbing effect.

True Center-Wheel Drive.

The tightest possible turning radius comes from the True Center-­Wheel Drive chassis. The Invacare® TDX® Family uses this type of wheelbase to provide excellent maneuverability and an intuitive driving experience. This technology combined with Enhanced Invacare® SureStep® Suspension, Traction Control Design and Quiet Stability Lock makes the TDX wheelchair a great indoor and outdoor chair.
