Short cuts
.Using the longest guide comb, start at the base of the neck and then work up towards the crown. Hold the guide comb down flat against the scalp and work slowly through the hair.
.When cutting the sides, use the same procedure as for the neck.
.To achieve a ‘flat top’ look, cut the hair on the top of the head using a comb instead of a guide comb.
.Use a shorter guide comb for shorter hair at the sides and on the neck. Comb the hair and check to see if there are any uneven sections.
