To start the energy supply shift switch A up to position «1». (the protective cover H must be removed).

Shift switch A further up to the «start» position until you can clearly hear a click. This starts heating up the appliance.

Let the switch slide back to position «1».
Red dots shining in the ignition control window indicate that the styler has ignited and is heating up. In the unlikely case that it does not heat up, make sure the gas is on and push the start switch again.
After approx. 1 to 2 minutes, the ready indicator dot D changes colour. Only then is the appliance ready for use.
