Control Solution Range

If test results fall outside the expect- ed range, repeat the test. Results that fall outside the expected range may indicate the system is not working properly. Some possible causes are:

Procedural error

Expired or contaminated control solution

Test strip code and meter code do not match

Dirty meter or test strip holder

Test strip deterioration

Meter malfunction

Control solution that is outside of the temperature range 15–35˚C (59–95˚F)
