6 General Information

6.1 Approval

The apparatus is approved for connection to direct exchange lines and to approved, compatible PABX’s. It cannot be guaranteed that the apparatus will operate cor- rectly under all conditions when connected to some PABX’s. If difficulties are expe- rienced, please contact your network supplier in the first instance.

6.2 Guarantee

From the moment your Geemarc product is purchased, Geemarc Telecom SA guar- antee is for the period of one year. During this time, all repairs or replacements (at our option) are free of charge.

Should you experience a problem then contact our helpline or visit our website at www.geemarc.com.

The guarantee does not cover accidents, negligence or breakages to any parts. The product must not be tampered with or taken apart by anyone who is not an authorised Geemarc representative.

The guarantee of Geemarc Telecom SA in no way limits your legal rights.

IMPORTANT: YOUR RECEIPT IS PART OF YOUR GUARANTEE AND MUST BE RETAINED AND PRODUCED IN THE EVENT OF A WARRANTY CLAIM Please note: The guarantee applies to the United Kingdom only.

6.3 Declaration

Hereby Geemarc Telecom SA declares that this telephone is in compliance with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of the Radio and Telecommu- nications Terminal Equipment Directive 1999/5/EEC and in particular:
