2.Connect the adaptor by plugging the AC power adaptor into the wall outlet and the adaptor tip into the jack at the rear side of unit. (Use only 9V DC. 200mA, center positive Class 2 adapter.)

3.Insert 4 AA Batteries into the battery compartment on the bottom of the telephone. The Low Battery icon is displayed on the Caller ID display when the battery volt- age is low. Batteries should be replaced at that time. (Batteries are not required for operation but to insure CID information is not lost during a power outage.)

4.Follow the procedure “Unit Setup” to set up your unit.

5.Place the unit on a flat table or mount it on a wall. Refer to page 6 for wall mounting instructions.
