Troubleshooting Tips

Note: The console will not work during a power failure

Conference phone doesn’t ring

Ensure the power supply and telephone line cords are securely connected to the electrical outlet and modular phone jack.

Make sure the ringer is turned on.

Display screen is blank

Ensure the power supply cord is connected to the phone and an electrical outlet which is not controlled by a wall switch.

No dial tone

Check or repeat the installation steps.

Ensure the telephone line cord is securely connected to the modular jack.

Connect another phone to the same modular jack. If it doesn’t work, the problem might be your wiring or local service.

Use another telephone line.

Short silences, echoes, or clipped speech

Refer to the guidelines in the Important Installation Information section.

Try to make the call again to get a better line connection.

If the telephone equipment the other party is using is not comparable in quality to your conference speakerphone, for example, a half-duplex device, voice problems may not be resolved.
