2.Select a handset or the base to transfer the call within ten seconds. (Refer to step 2 in the intercom section on page 53.) The call will automatically be placed on hold, and an intercom tone sounds.

To cancel the transfer, press the CANCEL soft key, TALK/FLASH or SPEAKER on the initiating handset.

3.On the receiving handset, to answer the page, press TALK/FLASH, the ANSWER soft key, or INTCM/HOLD. The intercom mode is activated, but the caller is still on hold. Or press any number key,

/TONE/< or #/> (when Anykey Answer is on), or pick up the handset from the cradle (When Auto Talk is on).

On the receiving base, to answer the page, press SPEAKER, the ANSWER soft key or INTERCOM/HOLD.

4.To hang up the intercom call, press END or the END soft key on the handset (or INTERCOM/HOLD or the END soft key on the base).

5.To speak to the caller, press TALK/FLASH on the receiving handset (or SPEAKER on the receiving base).

From the base to a handset

1.During a call, press INTERCOM/HOLD on the base.
