You can make or answer a call on a phone on the same line as the cordless phone, even if the hand- set is away from the base.

RANGE appears when the dis- tance from the handset to the base is out of the phone’s range.

The keypad lights on the handset turn off if no button is pressed for more than 13 seconds.

The redial memory holds up to 80 dig- its in the tone or pulse mode. The redi- al memory also holds pause entries (see “Entering a Pause” under “Memo- ry Dialing”).

Note: We recommend you not use RE- DIAL to dial numbers that include a tone (*) entry (see “Using Tone Servic- es on a Pulse Line”).

USING FLASH/DEL

Use FLASH/DEL on the handset to per- form the switchhook operation for spe- cial services, such as call waiting.

For example, if you have call waiting, press FLASH/DEL to take an incoming call without disconnecting the current call. FLASH appears. Press FLASH/ DEL again to return to the first call.
