Using the Call Log on the Handset Base or Cordless Handset

Your handset base and cordless handset call logs work with a network service ‘Caller Display’ and can each store up to 30 names/numbers of up to 15 characters and 24 digits for each entry.

Missed calls will be indicated by the display ‘Missed calls’ and the Handset Base will also flash the icon.

Caller Display/Caller Display with Call Waiting

Important Note:

To make use of Caller Display and Caller Display with Call Waiting on your landline, you must first subscribe to the relevant service from yourTelephony Network Provider.

Caller Display

When you receive an incoming call, the caller’s number will be displayed so that you can see who’s calling before you answer. If the caller’s number has been stored in Phone Book, the caller’s name will be displayed instead.

Other messages you may see in the display are:

‘Unavailable,Withheld’ - If the caller has withheld their number

‘Call’

- If the call originated from a network not offering Caller Display or

 

you do not subscribe to Caller Display service.

To view an entry in the Call Log

1.Press the Calls key and use the and keys to scroll through and view the entries

To dial from the Call Log

1.Press the Calls key and use the and keys to highlight the entry you’d like to call

2.Lift the handset or press ‘Speaker’ on the handset base or press the external call key or

the key on the cordless handset

3. Replace the handset or press ‘Speaker’ on the handet base or press the

or the

key

on the Cordless Handset to end the call
