Telephone operation

Store a directory entry

1.Press MENU/SELECT twice when the handset is not in use.

2.Pressorto select >STORE, then press MENU/SELECT. The screen displays ENTER NUMBER.

3.Use the dialing keys to enter the number.

Press MUTE/REMOVE to backspace and erase a character.

Press and hold MUTE/REMOVE to erase the entire entry.

Press to move the cursor to the left or to the right.

Press and hold REDIAL/PAUSE to insert a dialing pause.

4.Press MENU/SELECT to move on to the name. The screen displays ENTER NAME.

5.Use the dialing keys (see the Character chart on page 22) to enter the name.

Press MUTE/REMOVE to backspace and erase a character.

Press and hold MUTE/REMOVE to erase the entire entry.

Press to move the cursor to the left or to the right.

Press # to insert a space.

Saving or deleting a number on one handset will automatically update all other handsets.
