Getting Started

Installing Battery

To Install the Battery

1.Insert the tabs on the base of the battery into the notches on the base of the phone, as shown.

2.Push the battery down until it snaps into place.

Make sure that you have installed the battery correctly before switching the phone on.

Getting Started

To Remove the Battery

1.If necessary, switch off the phone by pressing and

holding down until the power-off animation plays.

2.Slide the catch toward the top of the phone, hold it in the position (), and lift the battery away ().

Charging a Battery

Your phone is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery.

A travel charger and a desktop charger are provided with your phone. Use only SAMSUNG-approved batteries and chargers. Ask your local SAMSUNG dealer for further details.

Notes:

You must fully charge the battery before using your phone for the first time. The phone can be used while the battery is charging.

Depending on your country, the desktop charger may not be included in the phone package. Contact your local SAMSUNG dealer.
