Press r. The start-up screens are displayed and your pager activates the power on chime (when in audible mode).

Press any button to stop the alert.

The unread message (home) screen is displayed.

When your pager is on and no activity is taking place, the Standby screen is displayed. The Standby screen displays the time and date and may display other status indicators.
