REVIEWING CALL RECORDS

Each time you receive a call, your CID stores a record that you can see while you are on the phone, or review later. Your CID saves up to 50 call records, replacing the oldest call record with a new call record.

Each call record includes the call number (order in which the call is received), the time and date of the call, the caller’s phone number (if available), and the call- er’s name (if available).

To review the call records, repeatedly press REVIEW 8 or 9.

;D: E< B?IJ appears when you try to scroll before the first or after the last call record.

The CID 2905 is primarily designed to enhance telecommunication experiences by providing the caller's identification before the recipient answers the call. This vital feature allows users to screen calls and avoid unwanted interruptions from telemarketers or unknown numbers. The device features an easy-to-read LCD screen that displays the caller's number, and if available, their name, ensuring that users have pertinent information at their fingertips.

One of the standout characteristics of the CID 2905 is its simplicity and user-friendliness. The setup process requires minimal technical knowledge, allowing even those who are less tech-savvy to seamlessly integrate it into their home or office phone system. The device is compatible with most landline phones, making it a versatile addition to any communication setup.

In terms of technology, the CID 2905 employs advanced caller identification technology that works by capturing and decoding information transmitted through phone lines during a call's ringing phase. This feature ensures timely and accurate identification of incoming calls. Importantly, the CID 2905 utilizes a memory function that can store up to 80 entries. This allows users to keep track of missed calls and easily refer back to them when necessary.

Additionally, the device benefits from its visual alert system, which includes a built-in speaker that provides an audible tone when a call is received, further aiding those who might have difficulties noticing visual notifications. For added convenience, the CID 2905 often comes equipped with options to adjust the volume of the ringer and the display contrast, tailoring the device to individual preferences.

Durability is another noteworthy aspect, as Radio Shack products typically emphasize longevity and reliability. The CID 2905, designed with a sturdy build, promises to deliver consistent performance over time.

In conclusion, the Radio Shack CID 2905 stands out in the realm of caller ID devices thanks to its user-friendly design, advanced technology, and practical features.
