Set the volume for each line’s ringer. Set to HI in a noisy room or LO in a quiet room. To turn off the ringer, set it to OFF. You can still make calls with the ringer off, and you can also receive calls, if you hear another phone on the same line ring.

Note: The USOC number of the jack to be installed is RJ11C or RC14C (RJ11W for a wall jack).

Plug the handset cord into the jacks on the base and handset.

Press RESET to end a call without hanging up the handset.

Press REDIAL to dial the last number dialed (up to 31 tone or 32 pulse dig- its).

Press HOLD to place a call on hold. When the line’s red indi- cator lights, you can place the handset on the cradle. To return to the call, press that line’s but- ton or pick up any extension phone on that line.
