1.Power Button: Press and hold this button for 2 seconds to turn the trans ceiver on or off.

2.Push-to-Talk Button (PTT): Press to transmit. Release to receive.

3.Monitor Button: Press and hold to bypass the squelch and listen to channel activity; a momentary press activates LCD backlighting for 5 seconds.
