Note: Intercom paging will be cancelled if any of the following things occur:

You receive an outside call or an intercom page while selecting the other handset.

You do not select a station within thirty seconds.

Your handset is out of range (OUT OF RANGE appears in the display).

The party does not answer the page within one minute.

The party is busy (UNAVAILABLE appears in the display).

The party is out of range (UNAVAILABLE appears in the display).

Answering an Intercom Page

When the intercom page tone sounds, the display will show the ID of the station that is paging.

1)From the handset, press [ /flash] or [hold/int’com/xfer]. If Any Key Answer is on, you can also press any key on the dial pad. If AutoTalk is on, the handset will automatically answer the page when you pick up the handset from the cradle.

2)From the base, press [hold/int’com] or [].

3)To hang up an intercom page from the handset, press [ ]. To hang up an intercom page from the base, press [hold/int’com].

Muting the Ringer (One call only)

While the phone is ringing, press [ ] on the handset or [] on the base to mute the ringer for this call. The phone will ring again on the next call.

Muting the Microphone

Mute turns off the microphone so the caller can’t hear you. This only works while you are on a call.

From the handset:

1)Press [menu/clear].

2) Move the cursor to select MUTE and then press [select/]. MUTE ON and appear in the display; remains while muting is on.

3) To cancel muting, repeat the procedure, MUTE OFF appears.
