9.6. Settings: Network

9.6.1.Network Setup: Wired / Wireless

This page will display your LaCinema HD Connect’s network values, such as IP address (Fig. 121). To modify these values, click the Configure button.

1.Wired/Wireless: Choose whether your network connection is wired (Ethernet) or wireless (WiFi). Make sure that you have con- nected the product to your network via Ethernet or WiFi dongle (sold separately).

2.DHCP/Static IP: Choose DHCP if your device is automatically assigned an IP address by your router, or static IP if you want to assign an IP address (Fig. 122).

3.If you chose wired, configuration is complete. If you chose wire- less:

a.Select Wireless Favorites from the menu.

b.Choose your wireless network and press Connect Now.

c.You can configure multiple wireless networks from this page. To set one network as preferred, and therefore the server that the LaCinema HD Connect will connect to automatically, se- lect the network and select the Favorites button.

d.When you see the successful connection icon to the right of the network listing, you can click the Close button.
