3Slide the Alarm 1 selector switch (22) or Alarm 2 selector switch (16) to select your wake up mode:

-To MUSIC position for Radio or CD alarm mode. -To BUZZ position for alarm buzzer sound.

-To OFF position to turn alarm function off.

4Once the Alarm switch has been activated the ALARM indicator (32) or (8) will illuminate.

Setting the alarm to wake to radio

1Set the required alarm time by pressing and holding the ALARM 1 SET button (26) or ALARM 2 SET button (28) and simultaneously the SKIP SEARCH FORWARD button (12) to fast forward or the SKIP SEARCH REVERSE button (13) to reverse.

2Slide the function selector switch (19) to the RADIO position.

3Select the required waveband by sliding the BAND selector switch (27) to either FM or MW and turning the TUNING control (11) to the station you wish to use for the alarm.

4Set the VOLUME control (18) to the desired level.

5Slide the ALARM selector switch (22) or (16) to the MUSIC position. (The ALARM indicator (32) or (8) will illuminate.

6To stop listening to the radio press the power OFF button (30). Ensure the radio station will be transmitting at the preset alarm time.

Setting the alarm to wake to buzzer

1Set the alarm time as described (1) above.

At the desired wake up time the buzzer can be set to operate. If you do not switch off the buzzer it will sound for a set period and then automatically switch off. If you press the power OFF button (30) the alarm will operate again 24 hours later.

2Set ALARM 1 selector switch (22) or the ALARM 2 selector switch (16) to the buzz position. Alarm indicator (32) or (8) will illuminate.

Alarm buzz will operate at the preset alarm time.
