Using the iHM16

Thank you for purchasing the iHM16. Designed to work with your iPad, iPhone, iPod, MP3 player, or any audio device, this system provides high quality audio for your songs and videos. Please read the instructions carefully before operating the unit and keep for future reference.

Installing/Replacing Batteries

1.Press on the tab to release and open the battery compartment door located on the bottom of the unit.

2.Insert 4 “AA” (LR6) batteries (not included), checking that the + and – ends of the batteries match the drawing inside the battery compartment. We recommend the use of alkaline batteries for longer life.

3.Close the compartment cover.

THIS UNIT DOES NOT CHARGE DEVICES

Do not mix old and new batteries.

Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries.

Make sure you dispose of batteries properly (see your local regulations).

Listening to an iPad/iPhone/iPod/MP3 player or other audio device

1.Unplug the tip of the attached audio cable from the recess on the bottom of the unit and uncoil cable from the channel.

2.Plug the audio cable into the headphone (or Line-out Jack) on your iPad/iPhone/iPod or other audio device.

3.Turn on your iPad/iPhone/iPod/MP3 player or other audio device. Select your audio source, press play and set desired volume on your audio device.

3.Switch the On/Off switch located on the top of the iHM16 to ON.

4.Remember to turn unit and audio device OFF when not in use to save batteries.

5.For travel or storage, return the audio cable clockwise back into the channel on the bottom of the unit and press the audio plug into the plug recess.

Maintenance

Place the unit away from sources of direct sunlight or excessive heat.

Protect your furniture when placing your unit on a natural wood and lacquered finish.

Clean your unit with a soft cloth moistened only with mild soap and water. Stronger cleaning agents, such as Benzine, thinner or similar materials can mar the surface.
