Presetting stations

You may store your preferred DAB and FM radio stations to the preset station memories. There are 20 memory presets in your radio, 10 for DAB and 10 for FM. Presets are remembered by your radio in the event of a power failure.

The procedure for setting presets and using them to tune to stations is the same for FM and DAB modes and is described below.

1.Press the On/Off button to switch on the radio.

2.Select the desired waveband and tune to the required station as previously described.

3.Press and release the Preset button.

4.Rotate the Tuning/Select control to select the desired preset station number under which you wish to store the station. The display will show, for example, 'EMPTY 1' if no station has been stored to that preset.

5.Press and hold down the Preset button until the display shows, for example 'P1 SAVED'. The station will be stored under the chosen preset. Repeat this procedure for the remaining presets.

Note: Some of the presets may have already been stored as part of the factory test procedure. Stations which have been stored in preset memories may be overwritten by following the above procedure.

Established in 1932, Roberts Radio has long been synonymous with high-quality audio equipment and classic design. The Classic DAB model exemplifies this by blending functionality with a nostalgic charm that appeals to a wide audience.

One of the standout features of the Roberts Radio Classic DAB is its sleek, vintage design, often featuring wooden cabinets and a classic dial interface. This combination not only adds an element of warmth to any room but also serves as a conversation starter for guests. The radio is available in various finishes, ensuring that it can fit seamlessly into any decor.

On the technological front, the Classic DAB provides access to a vast array of digital radio stations. This includes both national and local channels, offering listeners a diverse array of music, news, and talk shows. With the ability to tune into DAB, DAB+, and FM frequencies, users have unparalleled access to their favorite broadcasts without the interference or static often found in traditional AM/FM radios.

Another critical characteristic is the built-in RDS (Radio Data System) feature, which allows users to view additional information about the station currently being listened to. This can include song titles, artist names, and programme details, enriching the listening experience.

The Roberts Radio Classic DAB is also designed with user convenience in mind. It features intuitive controls, allowing for easy tuning and station selection. A large, easy-to-read display ensures that listeners can clearly see information at a glance, even from a distance.

Additionally, the unit often includes auxiliary input options for streaming music from external devices, such as smartphones or tablets. This versatility makes it suitable for various listening preferences, from traditional radio broadcasts to modern digital streaming.

Battery backup capability is another important aspect, providing peace of mind during power outages or while enjoying music outdoors. The durable construction ensures that the radio can withstand the rigors of daily use, making it not only a decorative piece but also a dependable audio source.

In summary, the Roberts Radio Classic DAB stands out in the crowded digital radio market by marrying classic design with modern technology.
