RECORDING A VOICE MESSAGE/FM BROADCAST OR EXTERNAL UNIT

			Main Menu		WHILE IN MUSIC MODE: Press the Menu button 1 once; the Main
					Menu will appear in the display. Select the Record icon (see left)
					using the Skip/Search o 2 or n 3 button, then press the Menu
				Record	button 1 again.
	1				WHILE IN FM MODE: Press and hold the Record button for one
		3			second.
					Select the desired settings as described below using the
					Skip/Search o 2 or n 3 button, then press the Menu button 1 to
					change.
	Source:	Select MIC to record			from microphone.
		Select Line In to record from an external unit connected to the LINE IN jack (see figure
		on the next page).
Mo/St:		Select FM to record the internal FM station being broadcast.
		Select Stereo or Mono.
Encoding: Select the desired type of encoding (IM ADPCM, MS ADPCM, PCM or MP3.
S-Rate:		Select the desired sampling rate (32KHz, 44KHz, 48KHz). The higher the KHz, the
Bit Rate:		better the quality of the recording, but the larger the file.
		Select the Bit Rate for MP3 only. It is suggested to use 128Kbps.
