Battery

The Sansa Fuze player comes with an internal rechargeable battery. The battery is not replaceable. Remember to fully charge the battery prior to your first use.

The battery level indicator is located at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Charging

To charge the battery, please follow these steps:

1.Connect the larger end of the Sansa cable into the Sansa player.

2.Connect the smaller end of the Sansa cable into an available USB port on the computer.

3.The computer must be on for all the USB ports to charge the battery. Your Sansa will show connected and the yellow charging indicator will appear. The battery level indicator will blink while charging. You will not be able to play music, watch videos, or view photos while the player is connected to the computer.

4.To stop recharging, simply disconnect the cable.

The battery can also be charged using an AC adapter (not included) or a car adapter (not included); you will be able to play your device while charging with one of the adapters.

NOTE: Some low-power USB ports may not provide enough power to charge the Sansa player. If the device does not charge, use the USB port located at the rear of the computer.
