Why should I update the firmware?

How do I transfer videos and photos to my Sansa Fuze+ MP3 player?
You should install the Sansa Media Converter software (see www.sandisk.com/smc). This software will convert your video and photo files then transfer them to the player. Refer to the Sansa Media Converter software for details on file formats supported.
