6.Click on the Formatdrop-down list and select MP3, make sure that the option, Copy protect musicis NOT selected, then click OK.

NOTE: This Player supports copy-protected WMA files (WMA9 or DRM9 format only). For further information about DRM technology, see Digital Rights Management (DRM)on page 26.

7.Open the CD drive; carefully insert the CD containing the tracks that you wish to transfer to your MP3 Player, and close the CD drive.

A pop-up box will appear asking what you would like to do with the tracks/files (see example below).

8.Select Rip Music from CD using Windows Media Playerand click OK.

Windows Media Player will open and will automatically begin to transfer (rip) the tracks into your Windows Media Player Library, which can be accessed by clicking on the Librarytab at the top of the window (see example below).
