MAINS/LINE FUSE

A Mains /Line fuse is fit ted within the IEC socket on the rear of the power supply pack. A small drawer at the bot tom of this socket may be removed (af ter the IEC plug is

removed) by levering it out with a flat blade screwdriver. The fuse fit ted should be rated at no greater than that specified on the rear panel.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT FIT A FUSE WITH A HIGHER RATING.

NOTE: Fuse failure may indicate a severe problem. Should the net work audio player continue to exhibit mains fuse failure contact your Plinius dealer.

P l ayb a c k C o n t ro l

The Plinius Tiki Net work Audio Player is designed to be operated with UPnP Mobile Digital Media Cont rollers or Digital Media Cont rollers.

Cont rol of the files from the Media Ser ver to the Tiki can be per formed by

Smar tphone, iPod/iPad or iPhone applications designed for UPnP Mobile Media Ser ver

Cont rol. The application is used to select and cont rol digital audio librar y files to be played through the Tiki digital to analogue conver ter.

Alternatively, Digital Media Cont rollers that operate within compatible Media Ser vers can be used without the requirement for wireless connectivit y.

To ensure the best ongoing operation, firmware upgrades may become available

periodically. The upgrade process requires connection of the Tiki Net work Audio Player to the Internet so it may receive the upgrade files from the Plinius upgrade

ser ver. Your Plinius dealer can inform you of the features and benefits of a firmware upgrade, and confirm if the upgrade is applicable to your hardware.

Should you choose to apply the available upgrade, your Plinius dealer will arrange

activation of the upgrade for your par ticular hardware. Af ter the upgrade has been activated at the upgrade ser ver, you will be advised to switch of f and then re-power

your unit. Once the product is re-powered, the upgrade process will begin and takes a

maximum of 5 minutes. Af ter this time the product is ready to be used as normal. Following an upgrade you will receive advice that the upgrade process was successful.
