Press the POWER button to turn the unit on. Press the FUNCTION button until radio is selected.

Press the BAND button to select AM or FM.

Press the TUNING buttons to select a station as described below.

Adjust the VOLUME and EQ buttons as desired.

To adjust the volume, simply

 

Repeatedly press the EQ button

TUNING:

MANUAL TUNING: Repeatedly press the TUNING buttons to manually advance the frequency in the display up or down until the desired frequency appears.

AUTOMATIC TUNING: Press and hold the TUNING buttons until the frequency in the display starts to scan, and then release the button; the tuner will search and then stop on the next strong station it finds. Repeat this procedure until the desired frequency appears in the display.

FM STEREO:

When the Band is set to FM and a strong FM stereo station is broadcasting, the ST (Stereo) indicator will appear in the display.

ANTENNAS:

AM – This unit has a built-in ferrite rod antenna, which provides adequate reception in most areas. If reception is weak, turn the unit to improve reception.

FM – The FM Rod Antenna is for FM reception only. If reception is weak, adjust the length of the antenna.
