CF Media Card Backup functions are described below:

Function

Description

 

 

Start

To backup a CF media card on a hard disk, choose Start.

Target Dir

To change the path, choose Target Dir. Then select a new path

 

in the folder selection window. The default target directory is

 

/hdd/Backup/MediaCard. You can create a new folder by

 

selecting Make New Target Dir.

Make New Target

To create a new backup folder, select Make New Target Dir.

Dir

Then create a new folder in the folder management window.

 

When making a backup without creating a new folder, the

 

backup file is placed into the existing folder.

Show Progress

To display detailed backup progress during backup, select

 

Detail. To display backup progress briefly in the form of a

 

progress bar, select Simple.

 

 

Recording Progress Screen

The following screen appears when you do not play video/audio/FM radio during recording.

The recording time info is displayed in Recording Time. It indicates the elapsed recording time and the total recording time. When Recording Time is user mode, the total recording time is not displayed. You can see the name of a recording file in Target File.

Text

The mPack is text capable, allowing you to store and view all your text files in

.txt format. To read a text file:

Select Browser from the Main

Window.

Select a text file on the Browser screen and press the button to open it with Text Viewer. For information on how to use the Browser, refer to the Browser section on the next page 70.

You can view the contents of the file with Text Viewer.

Button operations for the Text Viewer are described below:

Move the cursor to the right one character position.
