Installing the Map for Your Area

Before you may use the system, you must copy the map information for your area from the provided DVD onto the CF card. Follow the instructions provided with the mapping DVD provided with the system.

Installing the PN600

Important Information

Never drop the NM-PN600

Clean the NM-PN600 with a soft cotton cloth (or lens cloth) dampened with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Any other cleaning fluids may damage the LCD screen.

Observe all relevant local regulations.

Ensure that the driver’s view is not obstructed.

Increased risk of injury in the event of an accident. Do not install components in the inflation range of the airbag or in areas where the head may impact the components.

Only install in vehicles with 12-volt on-board voltage. Risk of malfunction, and damage to vehicle if installed in unsuitable vehicles.

Not intended for marine use.

Assembly

1.Verify you received all components.

2.Insert CF Card that contains Navigation Program, Map and MP3 Data.

3.Install PN600 on the mounting bracket.

4.Connect reverse camera and external input A/V cable. (Optional) Connect power jack to PN600 and cigar lighter adapter to vehicle.

Mounting

To mount the NM-PN600 follow the instructions provided with your selected mounting accessory. Observe the cautions found in the "Important Information" section of this manual.
