Skip and Search Features

Skip Feature

When the file list is displayed, SKIP/FWD and SKIP/REW. or the

SELECT/VOLUME

control allows you to select which track to play using the file list.

Press SKIP/FWD to move the cursor down the list.

Press SKIP/REW to move up the list.

Note: If you search beyond the last track, the cursor will return to the first track.

Press PLAY to play the selected track.

During playback or pause, press and release SKIP/FWD or SKIP/REW to skip to the next or previous track.

Press SKIP/FWD to skip to the next track.

Press SKIP/REW to skip to the begin- ning of the current track being played. Press again to skip to the previous track.

Note: If you skip the last track, you will return to the first track in the list.

Search Feature

During playback, SKIP/FWD . and SKIP/REW. allow you to audibly search through the tracks at a faster speed.

During playback, press, hold and release SKIP/FWD to search forward at a faster speed.

During playback, press, hold and release SKIP/REW to search in reverse at a faster speed.

Notes:

If you search in reverse beyond the beginning of the playing track, the player will start playing the track you select automatically.

If REPEAT 1 is activated, you can not reverse beyond the selected track. The player will start playing the repeating track.

Scroll Feature

When the player is stopped, you can scroll down the list of tracks by turning the SELECT/VOLUME control up or down.

Note: If you continue to scroll down the list beyond the last track, the player return to the first track on the list.

1.Place the player in the stop mode.

2.Turn the SELECT/VOLUME control up or down to scroll through the list of tracks available on the card inserted in the player.

3.Turn and hold the SELECT/VOLUME control up or down for more than one second for continuous page up or page down.
