Troubleshooting Checklist

Power cannot be turned on.

– Check if the battery is properly aligned to the correct polarity.

In case of no sound

Check if the volume is set to ‘0.’

Check if the connection of the earphone has failed.

Buttons don’t work

– Check if the Hold switch is on.

In case of “No Marked Files” or “No Marked Folder”

– Choose the “Total” mode of [Playing Methods]

In case of no FM reception

For a fringe area where reception is poor, some radio signals are hard to pick up.

Check if the connection of the earphone has failed. (The earphone doubles as the antenna for the product.)

The system seems sluggish

Booting speed will be slow when there are too many files in EMX-830 Series.
