Press and release the MENU 1 button to start recording. Speak into the microphone at a normal tone of voice.
Press the 
2 button to pause
recording. Press the 
2 button again to resume recording. Press and release MENU 1 button to save the recording file.

recording mode. |

NOTES:
The recording is not affected by the Volume setting as the recording level is set automatically.
