Read the battery level indication of your player

The approximate power levels of your battery are indicated as follows:

Full

Two-thirds full Half full Low

Empty

Tip When the batteries are nearly empty, the battery low screen Transfer blinks. Your player will power down in less than 60 seconds. Your player will save all settings and un-finished recordings before it powers down.

Transfer

You can organize files and transfer music to your player during a USB connection session using Windows Explorer.

1In Windows Explorer, select one or more songs on your computer that you want to transfer to your player.

2Use drag and drop actions in Windows Explorer from your computer to your player to complete the transfer. (Ensure that you drop songs into the Media folder and data files into the Data folder only.)

Power on/off

To power on, press and hold 2; until the PHILIPS splash screen appears.

To power off, press and hold 2; again until there is no display on the screen.

Tip Your player automatically powers down if there is no operation and no music played for the duration defined in General Settings > Time out.
