Handling and operation

‹Open the cover of the battery compartment 11 on the bottom of the appliance.

‹Insert a 9V Block battery (not supplied) into the battery compart- ment 11. Ensure that the polarities are correct.

‹Close the battery compartment 11 by replacing the cover and allowing it to lock into place.

Providing mains power

‹Plug the mains power plug into a wall socket. The time of day (0:00 o'clock) will be shown in the display 4 .

VHF wire antenna

‹For VHF reception completely unfold the wire antenna 6 .

Handling and operation

In this chapter you receive important information for the handling and operation of the appliance.

Setting the time

‹Press and hold the TIME button 10.

‹Press and hold the UP button 9 resp. DOWN button 8 to set the time.

‹Release the TIME button 10 when the correct time is indicated in the display 4 . The adjusted time will be automatically accepted as soon as the TIME button 10 is released.
