USB CONNECTIONS

USB-MTP Mode

Files transferred under USB-MTP mode will not be available when using a USB-MSC connec- tion (and vice versa).

When the MP-C945 is connected under USB-MTP mode:

1.Double-click the “My Computer” icon on your desktop and then double-click the MP-C945 icon (MTP HD Multimedia Player).

2.Your player contains two folders: Data and Media.

Drag your media files to the Media folder (e.g., MP3, AVI, JPG, WAV, WMA files).

Drag all other types of files to the Data folder for storage (e.g., TXT, DOC, XLS, etc). Data files are only visible from a computer; these files will not be available from within the player itself.

USB-MSC Mode

Files transferred under USB-MSC mode will not be available when using a USB-MTP connec- tion (and vice versa).

When the MP-C945 is connected under USB-MSC mode:

1.Double-click the “My Computer” icon on your desktop and then double-click the MP-C945 icon (Removable Disk).

2.Drag your media files (or other files) to the Removable Disk.

• You may choose to use folders/subfolders to organize your media and data.
