With summer just around the corner and Aussies getting active, Sony is proud to introduce the new S200 MP3 Sports Walkman.

Staying true to the high sound and design quality that is inherent in all Walkmans, the S200 adds another dimension to the famous portable audio player that can appeal to the athlete in all of us.

Measuring a trim 9.7cm by 1.5cm and weighing only 25.5 grams, the S200 boast’s a sleek cylindrical design that houses all controls in a layout that is very easy to navigate through. Perfectly complimenting the curves is the ‘Jog-Dial’ interface that allows easy scrolling through any item on the menu or songs in your albums.

Utilising a new process called “Impact Molding”, the tough, seamless body of the S200 is created from a single block of aluminium. Utilising a unique technology, a seal is applied to the chassis internally, resulting in a sleek and stylish WALKMAN that’s also splash-proof!

Specifically designed for the athlete in all of us, the heart of the S200 is the Sony-unique G-Sensor®technology.

This technology revolves around an IC chip that monitors the gravitational movement of the Walkman when it’s in use. Being able to capture this information allows for the S200’s sports- specific feature-set including:

Counter Function

The S200 has a stopwatch feature for easy timing of your run or walk workout. With the ability to sense your steps combined with entering your

age, weight and height information, the S200 can operate as a modern day pedometer. As such, you can retrieve information such as:

•Calories burned

•Distance traveled (kms/miles)

•Steps taken

The S200 can keep a record of your last seven sessions for those who prefer to be a bit more serious about their workout as well as their sound.

Music Pacer

Combining the ability to create your own compilation in

the supplied SonicStage CP software, the S200 can sense how fast you are running or

walking, and plays the music most appropriate to your step speed.

All you have to do is create a compilation of your favorite songs to run to as well as a compilation of songs you like to walk and cool down to and transfer them onto the Walkman.

Everyone has their own soundtrack they enjoy as they run or walk. Only Sony’s MP3 Sports Walkman allows you to create your own personal soundtrack.
