Memory Function

When you stop the operation and then restart, the purifier will resume the operation status before shutdown. If you operate the purifier for approx. 5 seconds or longer, the operation status will be stored in memory. (If you stop the operation within less than 5 seconds, the operation status will not be stored in memory.) Even if you unplug the power cord, the operation status will be stored in memory. However, the airflow rate is automatically set to “Auto”.

Air Sensor

Level of air contamination detected by the odor sensor is shown by the way the indicator is activated.

Note

You can adjust the air sensor sensitivity setting as desired.

In case the purifier is installed in a place where air contamination is hard to detect or in case the sensor itself

is not clean, the indicator action may not change.

Odor Sensor

The sensor detects odor in air such as cigarette smoke or odor of pet animals. Even when you feel the air is clean, the purifier may continue the operation if the odor sensor finds any gas component not removed by the filter.

Any of the following may also be detected by the odor sensor.

Combustion gas from heating appliance, alcohol, odor of perfumes or cosmetics used in beauty parlor or aesthetic salon, sprays, vapor, abrupt temperature change, etc.

Odor sensor

Humidity Sensor

The humidity sensor finds the humidity of room air during operation.

Humidity level should be taken as a guide only.

The indication may differ from hygrometer reading.

Humidity will change as temperature changes.

Humidity level may differ between well-ventilated and ill-ventilated places.

Humidity Sensor

Auto Detection

The air purifier performs automatic operation by detecting room air contamination with “Odor Sensor” and room air humidity with “Humidity Sensor”.

In the first 3 minutes after the power cord is plugged in, the unit will check room air condition and save it in memory. During the time, the “Air Sensor” indicator and “Humidity Level 50” indicator will blink. After 3 minutes, both the “Air Sensor” and “Humidity Level 50” indicators will go off and the purifier is now ready to operate.

You may start the operation in less than 3 minutes after plugging the power cord.

In this case too, the “Air Sensor” and “Humidity Level 50” indicators will continue to blink, meaning the unit is checking room air condition. After 3 minutes, the indicators will show your room air conditions.

If you plug in the power cord under contaminated air condition, the sensor sensitivity may be reduced. In such a case, perform High or Max operation. Or you may try to make the room air cleaner by opening a window before plugging the power cord. If the sensor sensitivity remains low after this, change the sensor sensitivity setting.

hitachi air purifier with humidifying function specifications

The Hitachi Air Purifier with Humidifying Function represents a cutting-edge solution designed to enhance indoor air quality while also ensuring optimal humidity levels. This versatile appliance is particularly suitable for households and environments where air dryness can lead to discomfort or respiratory issues.

One of the main features of this Hitachi air purifier is its dual functionality. It effectively purifies the air while simultaneously adding moisture, creating a comfortable and healthy atmosphere. This is especially beneficial in dry climates or during winter months when humidity levels tend to drop.

The Hitachi air purifier employs advanced filtration technology, including a HEPA filter that captures up to 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns. This ensures that allergens such as pollen, dust, smoke, and pet dander are efficiently removed, contributing to cleaner and fresher air. Additionally, the activated carbon filter helps eliminate unpleasant odors, providing a more pleasant indoor environment.

Another notable technology integrated into this model is the proprietary humidifying system. It utilizes an innovative evaporation technology that hydrates the air without causing it to feel damp or sticky. This is important for maintaining comfort while preventing the growth of mold and bacteria that thrive in overly humid conditions.

The Hitachi air purifier also features smart sensor technology, which continuously monitors air quality and adjusts the operation modes accordingly. This ensures maximum efficiency and convenience, as the unit operates automatically based on the conditions in the room. Furthermore, the air purifier is equipped with a quiet mode, ideal for nighttime use, ensuring that it does not disturb sleep while still maintaining air purification and humidity levels.

Another key characteristic of the Hitachi air purifier is its user-friendly interface. The intuitive controls allow users to easily adjust settings, monitor humidity levels, and check filter status. With multiple fan speeds and humidification levels available, users can customize the performance to suit their specific needs.

With its sleek design and compact size, the Hitachi air purifier seamlessly fits into various home or office environments. Overall, this appliance not only aids in maintaining a healthy indoor atmosphere but also enhances overall comfort, making it an indispensable addition to any space.
