TROUBLE SHOOTING

NO PICTURE

Is screen damaged? “ See smashed Screen Identification” section.

Is power applied and power light on?

Is disc cover ( screen ) closed correctly?

NO SOUND

Is the volume turned down?

Are headphones plugged in?

Is the wrong audio track selected from the DVD?

DISC RESET TO THE BEGINNING DURING PLAYBACK

Disc cover ( LCD screen ) is not firmly shut, close firmly.

DISC WON’T PLAY

Check that the disc is loaded correctly.

Check disc for dirt / scratches, change the disc.

Check disc is a good quality MPEG2 or MPEG4 standard.

Check the lens. See separate section for procedure.

Wrong region message - choose a different disc.

REMOTE CONTROL DOESN’T WORK

Approach player more closely or remove obstructions.

Replace battery for new. Type Cr2025

USB WON’T PLAY

MPEG4 is an open format, use only officially recorded quality media.

No correct format files found (Mp3 JPG etc ) on the USB stick.

DIVX MOVIE NOT SYNCHRONISED FOR SOUND

Reset the movie.

Record movies using only official DivX software.

POWER PROBLEMS

No power from car power cable. Check the fuse in the cable and check for cable damage check the player works on the mains adaptor.

No power from mains adaptor check the cable for damage. Check the player works on the car power cable.

PIXEL FAILURE

The LCD screen contains 336,960 pixels, pixels can fail during normal product life. 1 pixel = 0.0003% failure rate.

One pixel failure per year of operation is considered normal and not a cause for concern.
