Types of Warning Signs

There are two types of warnings in this manual, indicated by the following symbols:

Indicates a Warning or caution for operation.

Indicates a Warning or caution for safety.

Rain and Moisture Warning

To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture.

Laser Warnings

This product is equipped with a laser device. Be sure to observe the following precautions when operating. Failure to observe these precautions could result in fire, bodily injury and damage to the equipment.

1.Do not operate the controls, make any adjustments, or perform any procedures other than as specified in this manual or in the DVD Player installation guide.

2.Allow only authorized service technicians to repair the laser equipment.

All of the DVD Player'ssystems comply with the appropriate safety standards,including IEC 825. The laser itself complies with laser product performance standards set by government agencies for a Class 1 laser product. The DVD Player does not emit hazardous light. The beam is totally enclosed at all time.
