CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS

The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user to the presence of un-insulated “Dangerous Voltage” within the product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock.

The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.

1. Placement

To prevent fire or electric shock, do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture. Do not place the set on an unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket or table to prevent it from falling. Keep the DVD Player away from strong magnets, heat sources, direct sunlight, and excessive dust. If the DVD Player is brought directly from a cold to a warm location, moisture may condense inside the DVD Player. When you move it from a cold to a warm location, wait for about one hour before operating the DVD Player, or remove the disc and leave the DVD Player turned ON until the moisture evaporates.

3. Caution

Do not spill or spray liquid of any kind on or in the system (this may result in a fire or electric shock). Do not place anything heavy on the DVD Player. To ensure proper ventilation and proper operation, never cover or block the slots and openings with a cloth or other material. Keep the DVD Player away from an open flame such as fire, candle etc,.

It is hazardous to replace the battery incorrectly. Replace the battery only with the
