2-1Audio CD Playback

Preparations

Apply power to the unit and connect the headphones.

To connect the player to external equipment:

∀Apply power to the TV set and select “Video” as the TV input.

∀Apply power to the stero system if the player has been connected to a stereo system.

∀Slide the AV OUT/IN SWITCH button to AV OUT position.

Basic Playback

1Press POWER on.

2Press OPEN to open the disc cover.

3Hold the edge of the disc to put it in the center with the printed side up.

Hold the disc without touching its surfaces, position it with the printed title side facing up, align it with the guides, and place it in its proper position.

4Press PLAY/SEL.

For audio CDs without playback control:

The player starts playback.

Playing MP3 Music Discs

1Press POWER on.

2Press OPEN to open the disc cover.

3Hold the edge of a MP3 disc to put it in the center with the printed side up.

4Press PLAY/SEL.

Close the disc cover, wait about 5 seconds, playback will start automatically.

Normally, MP3 discs are divided into folders (main menu) which contain MP3 music files. You may select a specific MP3 music files within the folder to playback.

With Root Directories

∀Press STOP to enter to the folders.

∀Select a specified track to playback by pressing / buttons or the numbers.

∀Press PLAY/SEL.

Without Root Directories

∀During playback, select a specified track to playback by pressing / buttons or the numbers.

∀Press PLAY/SEL.

Stopping Playback

Press STOP.
