DESTINATION MENU

NOTE: To delete items from the Trip Itinerary list, see the Option menu section entitled “Editing Trip Itinerary”.

4.The Confirm Destination screen appears showing the address of the first destination. If it is correct, select “OK”. Press EN- TER. The system will calculate a route to the destination.

NOTE: Select “Options” to save this destination in your Address Book, locate local POIs, or change route options. Select “Map” to verify or modify the location of your destination on the map. (See “Confirm Desti- nation Screen” section for more details.)

5.When you reach your destination, the system will prompt you to your next destination depending upon the follow- ing conditions:

If you turn the ignition off, the system will prompt you to confirm the next destination upon turning the ignition on again.

If you do not turn the ignition off press CANCEL. The system will then prompt you to confirm the next destination before calculating the route to your desti- nation.

NOTE: If you press another button instead of CANCEL, you will have to re-enter the trip itinerary from the Main Menu screen.

Map Cursor

This feature allows quick and easy selection of a destination directly from the Map screen. By selecting a street segment or icon, you can quickly enter a destination without the need to input the city name or street.

1.From the Find Destination by screen, select “Map Cur- sor”. Press ENTER.

2.Using the Select Encoder, high- light any of the 8 arrows to select the direction you want to move. Press and hold the ENTER button to scroll through the map and lo- cate your destination.

NOTE: To move greater distances on the map, use the Select Encoder to highlight the zoom scale icon, then choose a level of magnification.

NOTE: The Map Scroll feature will not work with the steering wheel con- trols. Use the Select Encoder only.
