DIGITAL ANTI-SHOCK SYSTEM (DAS2)

Your CD player contains special circuits to overcome sound skipping problems caused by shock or vibration. This means you can carry the CD player any- where you go or use it in your vehicle. When you turn on the anti-shock sys- tem, the CD player continuously saves 40 seconds of music in memory. During a shock or vibration that would normally make a track skip or pause, the CD play- er plays directly from memory.

Note: Your CD player requires 90 sec- onds to store a full 40 seconds of music. Before 90 seconds, it will play however much it has stored if the DAS2 feature is necessary.

To turn on the anti-shock system, set DAS OUT . . IN to IN. If the CD player is playing a CD, the sound briefly stops,

then appears on the display and the sound continues.

Note: The CD player consumes addi- tional battery power when you use the anti-shock system. When you use the CD player in a stable location, set DAS OUT . . IN to OUT to save battery power.
