6V 4.5V

1.Plug the AC adapter’s 5.5 mm outer diameter/2.1 mm inner diameter barrel plug into the cable so it reads + TIP.

2.Set the AC adapter’s voltage switch to 4.5V.

3.Connect the AC adapter’s barrel plug to the 4.5V jack on the back of the CD player.

4.Plug the AC adapter’s other end into a standard AC outlet.

Caution: The CD player automatically disconnects battery power when you connect an AC adapter, unless you are using special rechargeable nickel-cadmium batteries. Even though the CD player automatically does this, remove the special nickel-cadmium batteries to prevent overcharg- ing if you plan to use the CD player with AC power for an extended peri- od (8 hours or more).
