FM Radio

The PMP3520 contains an FM radio, follow the directions below for use:

1.Fist plug the earphones into the earphone jack. The earphones are also used as the antenna for the PMP3520. A "Plug in Headphone!" momentary mes- sage will appear, in step 2 below if they are not plugged in. Radio quality will vary from different geographic regions and orientation of the PMP3520. Disconnecting the earphones may cause radio static.

2.Push the Navigation button up or down to select FM Radio as shown in the left-hand figure below, and then press the Navigation button in to display the FM Radio shown as in the right-hand figure below.

3.Default (memory) stations showing on the top portion of the display (see figure below). The bottom section shows the frequency tuning indicator with a display of frequency and also the tuning method (scan or fine).

4.Push the Navigation button down to select Scan or Fine Tune. When Scan is selected, an available station can be found by pushing Navigation key to the right or left. If Fine Tune is selected, frequency bar will be adjusted by 0.1 MHz on each Navigation button left or right movement.

5.On scanning or tuning, the frequency tuned to is shown on display.
