POWER SOURCE

Battery Installation:

To install the batteries, (1.) Open the battery compartment located on the rear of the unit by rotating the battery lock to the left or right. (2.) Lift off the cover from the bottom edge. (3.) Insert three ‘AA’ batteries (not included) according to the polarity diagram in the compartment. To put the battery compartment cover back on, slide the top edge in first, pressing down on the bottom edge until it locks in place. Rotate the lock back to the original position.

BATTERY PRECAUTIONS

The precautions below should be followed when using batteries in this device:

1.Use only the size and type of batteries specified.

2.Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries as indicated in the battery compartment. If the batteries are loaded incorrectly the unit will not operate.

3.Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. alkaline and carbon-zinc) or old batteries with fresh ones.

4.If the device is not be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent damage or injury from possible battery leakage.

5.Do not try to recharge batteries not intended to be recharged; they can overheat and repture.

CAUTION:

This unit is “Water Resistant” but it should not be placed in the direct path of the shower spray, and it should never be fully immersed in water.

DESK OR TABLE TOP USE

This unit incorporates a stand which allows it to be used on a table or other flat surface. Just pull out

the built in stand on the back of the cabinet and let the unit rest on a desk, table or other flat surface.
