Settings

Changing the player’s settings

To change the player settings:

1.Press /MENU to display the Home menu.

2.Press + or to select Settings and press to enter the settings menu.

3.Press + or to select a setting and then press to change it.

Shuffle Off

Equalizer Flat

Screensaver 10s

Shuffle

Press repeatedly to select shuffle on or off. Music files (mp3/wma/wav) will be played randomly when shuffle is activated.

The shuffle icon ( ) shows on display when shuffle is on.

Equalizer

Press repeatedly to choose an equalizer setting (Flat, Bass, Pop, Rock and Jazz).

Screensaver

To choose the duration (10, 20, 30 seconds or 1 minute) before the screensaver activates.

Power save

To set the time interval (Off, 1, 2, 5 or 10 minute) before the player turns off if no key is pressed.

RecDur (Record duration)

To change the duration (Max, 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour) for radio and voice recording.

FreqStep (Frequency step)

To changes the way that the player scans through the radio frequencies. Switch to EU if you bring the player to Europe; switch back to US when you return to North America.

Language

To change the language of the player menus.

System info

To show the amount of free space available and the firmware version.

Restore defaults

To reset all menus to factory defaults.
